Built 1890. Located 1 Rooty Hill Road North, Rooty Hill North.

The Imperial Hotel was built by Frank Weston to cater for the crowds who arrived by train to attend the greyhound racing at Plumpton. A significant architectural landmark and social meeting point. The first licensee was Thomas Watkins. In 1936 its licence was revoked because the patrons were "too rowdy". In the late 1950's it was aquired by new owners and restored (it had been derelict for some years) and a new license obtained. It still operates today as a pub. The present owner is Dyemist Pty Ltd.

The Imperial is a two storey corner hotel in brickwork with verandah to the street frontage at the first floor level with lace balustrading and wrought iron columns.
