Built c.1867. Located at 2 Mount Druitt Road Mount Druitt.

Originally the Mount Druitt railway gatekeeper's lodge. Extension of the Great Western Railway from Parramatta to Penrith began in 1858 and was completed in 1862, however the station for Mount Druitt was not established until August 1881. As the Mount Druitt area became more populated, the unguarded Carlisle Road crossing became a distinct hazard. In 1867 tenders were called for the construction of gate keeper's cottages along the western line (a total of 21 cottages). It is believed that the Mt Druitt cottage was one of those included in the contact with Mr's George & Michael. With the opening of the Mt Druitt station, the lodge was converted into the stationmaster's residence. State Rail sold the property in July 1988 and it is now in private ownership.

A single storey brick house with galvanised iron roof and small verandah to one side of the street frontage.
