Located at Simpson Hill Reserve, off Great Western Highway, Mt Druitt.

The waterholes supplied water to the early settlers of Mount Druitt and travellers along the Great Western Highway. In 1853 the Druitt estate was subdivided by a land speculator, but it was found the Waterholes part of the estate was flood prone and the subdivided area was abandoned. The flood-prone area is now the site of a WW2 war memorial garden and the "Druitt Waterholes Reserve", which contains several natural springs. The Rememberance Gardens were established in 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.
